Hi all,

I have a huge problem. I just got myself a PCMCIA Harddisk from Toshiba (MK5002MPL). According to this article (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.h...num=16167#faq8) booting should not be a problem. My local mac-guy couldn't tell my for sure if it works or not, so I had to buy it at my own risk.

I installed OS 10.3 on it using the DVD that came with my PB. Everything worked like a charm. I even set the startup folder to the PC-card. On startup the card doesn't get any power and while pressing the option (ALT) key, only the DVD and local hard disk show up.

I am desperate for an answer. This is really important for my work. Does anyone out there have an idea? Please, please post back!

Thanks

Matt
