how can i close the lid without it going to sleep?

I have a powerbook Panther 10.3.6



i want to close my laptop's lid and keep downloading or do whatever i'm doing without it going to sleep ...



do u know how to do so?

    This doesnt really answer the question, but I know you can run the PowerBook's with the lid closed as long as you are using an external monitor:

    You need an external monitor, keyboard and mouse. But they were right it is going to get too hot and start to fry your screen. LCD hate bright light and heat. If you are only downloading you might get away with it but anything processor intensive and you'll be cook an expensive egg.
