Linux mail server and OS X
Anyone help with the following?
Don't ask why, but we have a Linux mail server on an intel rack server and an XServe running an LDAP server.
The guy doing the install just can't make the mail server use the Xserve's LDAP to authenticate log ins with out one hell of a kludge including crypt passwords and weird ways of getting mail aliases work. The mail aliases (what would be alternate shortnames for users) is the killer apparently.
Is this not a standard thing? How would one make this happen?
