Is it possible to change your .Mac account name?

I registered a .Mac account today, and in doing so registered a name that I am not that happy about.... I only did it after trying 50 other names that were already taken... anybody know if it is possible to change it?

    Call Apple Tech Support, They can do it or recommend you get another one.

    They will most likely close the account and open a new one. I had a name mix-up when I opened my .mac acount and that is how it was handled.
