Tough One: Backing up a Mounted Netware Volume

Hello, I work for a company with about 15 Macintosh computers that share a corporate Novell server which we log into via a third party application- Netware.



We are a graphics department (Wow could you have guessed) and we need to be able to backup files from this drive and catalog them (exact features retrospect supplies). Unfortunately, we purchased Retrospect only to find that you cannot backup a mounted Netware drive.



Any guesses? Prosoft sells a backup solution? Does anyone know if this is as powerful?

    Well, in the corporate world, we can't do the specing of the equipment- IT does all that. They won't buy anything we suggest because they want all the equipment in their server room to be the same so we have to have the overbloated and expensive compaq servers. Those drives are not cheap. Plus they are mirrored so whatever space we have gets cut in half!
