Good day (or night) to you all.8)



I am making the switch after Christmas (when money is available!!) to iMac G5



My w*nd*ws configured 3G iPod has 3000+ pieces of music on it at the moment - how do I transfer these to my new iMac??

    hi and welcome to ai,



    you might wan't to read the faq at ipodlounge which tells you how to convert a windows ipod into a mac ipod. unfortunately your tracks will be lost because you ipod will be formatted. so you better backup your music while you still have a pc. i'm sure someone here will be able to name an app that's capable of doing so.

    [edit] i just clicked did a quick search on ipodlounge and found this app which lets you backup your music. it's a shareware app but the 14days trial period should be enough time.
