"Way beyond" the rumors sites

Having seen some of the posts in this forum, everyone seems to think "Way Beyond" as new hardware. Now there's no doubt that new hardware will be released, but will it be way beyond anything the rumors sites can come up with?



I really don't think so. But more to the point, we may see some really surprising stuff in the non hardware arena, such as, perhaps:



1. Sony/Apple alliance

2. Mac clones

3. OS X for Intel



I know 2 & 3 are wishful thinking, but new hardware alone doesn't justify anything beyond the rumors sites.



Remember the MS deal in 1997, and how crazy that was? I'm thinking this MW will have something of equal or more significance.
