PIXELA CaptyTV/PCI (CHECK IT!)
Check out what I just found while on xlr8yourmac.com:

This looks like one sweet card, and Mac only! Problem is finding how they are available. Pixela is a Japanese company, and from the reports I read this card is gonna be available shipping to the international market in January. I think it's available right now in Japan. The price is $249 I think. Exactly the type of thing I'm looking to put in my G4.

I live in Japan and I own a Capty TV, it's a great product for recording all you favorite TV shows. I really recomend it, that is, If you are living in Japan.
This product is completly useless outside of Japan. First, the TV tunner is for Japanese broadcast signals only. 2nd, the solfware is only avalible in Japanese. Plus, if you do not own a Mac with an Intel chip, IT WILL NOT work. So all you Power PC owners are left out.
The is that this company doesn't mention these anywhere out side the box, you can only see the requariments when you open the box (written in a piece of paper) and you are stuck with the product.
I'll be happy to post a scan of this sheet or picture if anybody can tell me how to do it in there.
Any way, here the new product. You record HD content with this, is very simple. Just connect it to you Intel Mac via USB (powered via USB too) then insert you cable card and you are done. The software will allow you to record and schedule programs.
