I found an old post that said to got to System Prefereces - Email - Then set it as defualt. I don't have an "Email" preference in the System Preferece section.

Any idea how to set entourage as my default email client? I have a imac G5 with 10.3.6.

Regards,

Eric

You have to do it in the preference pane in Mail (the actual app.)

Thanks, that did the trick. What a weird place to make another email program your default.

    Much appreciated,

Apple now uses the Preferences of its built-in apps to select the default app. The take away lesson is that you will regret deleting the applications supplied by Apple.
