Problems launching Safari, Mail + Address Book After an Update

Hi, we've downloaded the latest airport and security updates, and since then, the native Apple applications don't launch anymore. We've tried to repair permissions with the OSX install CD, but nada. Nothing is launching. Can anyone out here help us? Whats wrong? Thank you in advance...

    Do they launch when you log in as another user?
