Toast and external firewire burner

In Toast 6, when using the Copy tab, I am unable to select my external drive as the source to read from. I can copy to it, just not from it. The drive shows up in the 'Read From' drop down menu, and I can highlight it, but it makes no difference to the selection.



I tried looking for plists or similar which might have corrupt settings, but I was not sure what was OK to delete and what was not.

    Don't ask me about Toast right now. I'm backing up data for a client right now cause Roxio's tech support can't get Toast to burn DVDs on his internal burner.
