My folks have just purchased an iMac G5, and they are COMPLETE newbees.
Can anybody recommend a book that'll teach them THE BASICS whilst I'm not there to help/confuse them?

The Missing Manual, by David Prouge/Progue? Good book, although might be thicker than you want, but that's because it covers so much.

I had a quick flick through the "Dummies Guide to Macs" last night, and funnily enough, I think it's written by the same guy?

Get them right into the Mac culture and its history!

Man, how times have changed. I remember the old days when books weren't needed for Mac Users.
