New Start Page

I just started Safari tonight and it took me to www.apple.com/startpage as opposed to te usual Netscape/Apple page. I don't think I like the new page though because it does not have any news besides Apple news. Are there any other sites that you guys would reccomend?

news.google.com has been my start page since it was introduced years ago, and before that it was google.com and before that... it was just a blank page awaiting my bidding
