Windows Media Player uninstallation probs

I downloaded WMP from Microsoft and installed it, but decided to unistall after seeing how crappy an app it really is (worse than Mac MSN!). I tryed dragging the folder into Trash, but every time I try emptying my trash it either says cannot continue because "htm" is being used or "________" is locked. Any help please of ridding this stupid thing from my new iMac?

    Have you tried secure delete, from the file menu? Or tryed making sure there is nothing in your startup items and restart and try.

    You don't have to empty the trash immediately. Logout, log back in, and then empty the trash.

    Tryed both methods. Didn't work. Any other ideas guys?
