ipod fozen - any ideas?

Hi there,



my ipod has frozen. i cant get any of the buttons to work and when i put it in the charger to connect it to the imac nothing happens.



I'm going on holidays in a few days, does anyone have any ideas?

    Just to be clear-



    Is it the iPod mini or reg. iPod??



    On the mini, if i'm not mistken you hold down the MENU and PLAY key (both at the same time) for like 8-15sec





    not sure if its the same on the iPod 3G or 4G

    If it's a "regular" iPod, did you accidentally move the "Hold" slider? (Not sure if they always had that).

    Yep, I think its the same for the reg. iPod too.

    RTFM! it will tell you how to restart in my 4G you turn Hold on and then back off, then hold down menu and select for about 10 sec and it restarts.
