Hi there - If you don't go with the Airport base station, but want to connect a Mac with a Windows system and a DSL line, what wireless hub do you recommend that works well with airport?
I just recently got the Netgear MR814. This thing is definitely NOT small, so you better not mind having something rather large floating around your desk or house. It comes with a stand so you can perch it vertically, and the design is very sexy. Without a doubt, this is the most nicely designed wireless router I've seen. Perfect match for Apple hardware. Very simple browser-based configuration. No software to install. I had one tech support call I needed to make and the experience was oustanding. I've never encountered tech support this knowledgeble or helpful. Performance seems fine, but I really have nothing to compare it with. My place is small, so I can't comment on range. There's a review on ZD worth reading:

It goes for around $100 and there's a $30 rebate.

Might be a typo. It says the router is both 59.99 and 39.99
