Display Profiling

I have a new Apple 20 inch display on a G5. I would like to purchase a calibration device so that I can profile my monitor for photos. I want to buy one in the $200-$300 range. I have researched on the web and have found 2 units that I think would be appropriate. I am hoping that some of you can share your experiences and your suggestions.
