Hotmail pro US?

today i received an email from a colleague. (we are both in the Royal Netherlands Navy). And he forwarded me a trick to get 25mb for my hotmail account instead of the puny 2mb. This involved changing my personal stats, stating that i lived in the US. Then close the account, re-open en voila...25mb...

First i distrusted this, tried it anyway. And it did work. If it didn't, no loss really, i use my gmail now instead of the hotmail account.





Isn't this strange? Is this just for europe,the 2mb or also other countries?



ps still 2 gmail accounts available

    Yea, the 2 MB email accounts were pretty much the norm in Europe.

    eventually you may even get the whole 250mb.



    Or you could use Gmail and get 1000mb from the get-go
