Anyone try the AeroPad USB wireless LAN adapter?

I'd like to connect my Rev. B iMac running OS X 10.1.5 to my LAN via 802.11b. The only product I've found that claims to work is the Macsense AeroPad wireless USB adapter, an external device that allows pre-Airport-enabled iMacs to play wirelessly. However, its OS X driver is alpha-level software and it appears to require Jaguar.

I don't really want to invest in Jaguar plus the adapter if it won't work. Is anyone using this product with a Rev. A-D iMac? Are there other solutions I'm overlooking? I know Proxim makes a similar wireless USB adapter but they don't have an OS X driver and don't appear interested in making one.
