Due to the increased number of MWSF announcement speculation threads, Temporary Insanity has been reopened.

All MWSF discussion should take place in Temporary Insanity and I will move active discussion threads there shortly.

Threads will be redistributed after the Stevenote.

Thanks

Jambo

iSomething - a device similar to USB flash drive but featuring a FireWire interface. A small internal battery that is charged via the FireWire interface whenever it is connected to the computer and a very primative interface and heaphone jack that allows you to list to music stored on the flash memory. Device doubles as a flash drive. Chuck some work files on it and then listen to some tunes on the train home.

cheapMac - an eMac without the screen that is capable of driving a 3rd party VGA/DVI monitor or a 20" Cinema Display. Ideal for graphic designers. I'll have seven of them please!

Power Mac G5 - speed bumps and/or introduction of muti-cores.

I was wondering what my post was doing here.

Jambo asking for posts to be submitted for the "Temporary Insanity" and then not admitting them?

    Oooops indeed.

Jambo forgot to check back in here, and only noticed when BRussell posted and it appeared in Today's Active Threads.

Apologies, the iServe thread has now been moved.

The time for insanity has ended.

Or at least, the time to provide an explicit haven for insanity has ended.
