Routing Digital In audio to Line Out speakers?
Is there any way to route the sound which is going into my Pmac G5s "Digital In" (spdif) port to the analog Line Out port?
I'd like to be able to connect an external component to the Mac via spdif and have the Mac play the audio through the analog speakers I have connected to it...or even the internal speaker. I've tried the Sound control panel and while the bar/meter for Digital In shows that it is indeed getting audio from my external device, it does seem to output it to any speakers.
