    actually it's home. i'm the youngest in my family, so no one else will be living in this room when i leave in the fall. i've been coming back for summers, but not after this one. the parentals dont care.

    This thread seems to have died a death, so I thought I'd post my picture of what my setup looked like last month. I'll post a new picture when I get a new mac next month. The emtpy cradle in the CD rack is for my camera by the way. I'll check back in soon with a new pic....

    Pretty basic setup. Specs are as you see in my sig. The monitor is a 17" Widescreen Sony monitor/TV tuner combo. Speakers by Creative.

    Added a new 12" powerbook with 1.5Gb of ram which is great fun.

    Had a bit of a system overhaul, so I thought I would kickstart this forum and post some new pics. My trusty old iBook (see above) was sold and I now have a 1.42GHZ Mac Mini with a 20in Cinema Display, bluetooth keyboard/mouse and JBL Creature speakers. The CD rack is a little fuller since the last picture, but the iPod mini still remains - I am holding out for a 5th gen iPod as my next system upgrade.

    1.42GHz Mac Mini 1gig of RAM Wifi and Bluetooth, wired keyboard, and bluetooth mouse, another IBM 17inch flatpanel.

    From that angle, your monitor looks larger than 20 inches.

    Hold on, maybe Apple gave me a 23in by mistake ....



    Oh, sadly not. Seems to be that the photo makes the desk look really small, so the screen looks big in comparison.
