I've got a ticket for MaWorld SF and want to get into the Keynote speech - does anyone know how early I would need to be there to stand a chance of getting in? I don't think my ticket offers priority seating so I'm anticipating a long wait, when is everyone turning up?

I got in line at 6am last year and it was 55-65% full when I got in the room.

I'm going this year, and I think I am going to go about the same time. I suspect with Apple being more in demand nowadays, I'll get a worse seat, but all I care about really is getting in and seeing the show live.

It's hard to say what the cut-off time is. Maybe 7:30am, maybe 8am. I'm really not sure. But if you really want to get in, I'd recommend getting in line really early. If you go with friend or two the time flies. Plus, you get to hang with Mac folks in line which always makes for good conversation and a ton of fun.

People do start lining up the night before. But I just think that is simply crazy. If you are going alone, you should be able to get a good single seat with a great view of the action as long as you make the cut-off.

But a SteveNote is a site to behold. The energy of being in a room with Steve and thousands of Apple's most passionate customers is an experience like no other.
