New TiBook Video question

Since it's possible to drive an external monitor while the TiBook screen is off, does all of the video ram get used by the external monitor in this mode? (i.e. so that you would have better resolution on the external monitor with the TiBook screen off vs both screens on at the same time)

    yes, all the GPU's RAM will go towards the external display
