is there a reason why this device won't have the video latency (so that it will be able to be used for gaming consoles on the mac) ...... and the original EyeTV USB DOES have latency?

As i understand it. the EyeTV USB has hardware mpeg1 encoding and the Wonder lets the computer do the encoding. ..so this could be the reason

I'd like to get a Mac Mini with a Wonder USB, but will the mini be enough to do mpeg2 realtime. -Does anyone know?

Elgato.com says you need a dual g4 to do mpeg2, but there's no mention of speeds. How would a 1.25 or 1.4 G4 compare to this ?
