Well I do know my mac. But this time I am trying to connect my flatmates old windows 98 machine to my network and I am lost

Her computer is an OLD portable with windows 98 service pack 2. The card I got her is an SMC 2835W but for the love of god if it wants to coorporate. It ask for the drivers. I point to the CD but it can´t find anything there and I am stuck. On the package it say 98se/Me/2000/XP. Isn´t 98 service pack 2 better than 98se?

Anywhere I can find drivers on the net for her? Anything else you can offer of help? Any advice for a cheap card that you know works with 98?

I think SE was the best of Win98, well, better than ME anyway.

    SMC shouldn't be a problem.

Try driversguide (login driver password all used to work instead of registering) for the driver or SMC itself.
