Highlight address bar one click with safari

I feel like an idiot that I cant figure this out but how can I get it so if I click once on the address bar it highlights the text. Its annoying having to click three times to go to a different website.

Try clicking on the favicon to the left of the URL.

haha, i feel so stupid. I just got a mac, and i didnt even think of that, i was just clicking in the middle. thanks
