I was custom configureing a mac mini today and in the last window before check out the list reads like this:

Part Number: Z0B7

56K v.92 Modem

AirPort Extreme Card

40GB Ultra ATA drive

Combo Drive

512MB DDR333 SDRAM - 1 DIMM

Mac OS X - U.S. English

Accessory kit

Estimated Ship: 3-4 weeks

What is the accessory kit? is it the manual? is it the dvi->vga dongle? is it something else all together?

I have never bought a mac from apple before so I have no idea what this is

It seemd in the keynote that the mini was srtipped so I wondered what accessories they are includeing

I know... hence the wink . I was amused by the idea floating through my mind of a Mac mini strapped to someone's arm.

    Sigh.

Also, everyone here says 512 is essential for a mac to run correctly, but at the apple store, on the imac g5, PB, and ibook, all running 256mb(according to apple menu->about this mac dialog box), I noticed no slugidhness, no hesitation, no bottle necks, and saw no noteable differance between those and the other models running 512, so why spend the money, do i really need it?

iFanny pack. For when you park your car. Holds the front you take off your car stereo and also the MacMini you slide out of your dash.
