ATI 8500 card better than GForce 4MX?

I have the dual 867 that came with the stock Gforce mx4...
Is the the ATI 8500 better.. and what about the 9000 being even better?
I don't care about the ADC port since i'm using a CRT new Sony 540!!
Id rather have straight VGA ports.

Yep, the 8500 is the better card here.
GF4MX < RADEON 9000PRO < RADEON 8500.
Yes, I know it may sound a bit weird, but a R9000PRO is basically a budget-versjon of R8500 introduced later, that's exactly half as good at multitexturing. Basically
check tests at tomshardware.com and anandtech.com for benchies...
