Tiger problems after installation - Mail & Spotlight
I just got my hands on the Tiger Developer version and I first installed the same on my iPod and booted ok and everything looked great so I loaded the same on my main HD. As I was excited I broke the first rule of installing a new OS ie I did not back up as I had full faith in the new Mac OS Tiger.
Well I installed a New fresh folder with OS 10.4 preserving my User settings evrything seemed to have gone off well and I rebooted teh computer.
Problems
SPOTLIGHT only works for iCal entries
Mail loads without any of my previous folders that show up in the index but I can't see any of my emails. The ~/Users/Library/Mail shows up all teh mail boxes but when I start Mail 2.0 I can't see anything. Mail doesn't quit either.
Please help

don't use prerelease software unless you're a developer and you know what you're doing.

That's the reason pre-release builds are only made available to developers.
