Ooops (Where'd my partition go?)

I pulled a stupid.

I dragged my partition from my desktop to the trash bin because I thought it would just take it off the desktop. Well. it got rid of it, but now in disk utility it is dimmed out. I never had an OS on there or anything... but is there anyway to get it back? If not that's fine, but how do I get it out of disk utility then?

Either boot and hold the option key to chosoe your boot partition or boot off your Panther disk and choose the boot disk.

    Dobby.

Well, I don't know if it had anything to do with my CD being in the drive but I restarted and it poofed back. Yay.

    Thank you though.

You just unmounted the drive. All your data is perfectly safe. In disk utility you can select the grayed-out drive and click the "Mount" button and that will bring it back to your desktop.
