SATA drives, external firewire drives

Looking at replacement internal drives for

a G5 tower, I see drives that look like:

400GB, SATA-7

and drives that look like

400GB, SATA U150

Is there only one kind of serial ATA drive (i.e. will

either SATA-7 or SATA U150 work in a G5 tower?)

Also, for my new iMac mini, which only has a firewire 400

port, can I plug in a firewire 800 drive and have it

work at 400 speed? (The drive I have in mind is a

G-tech 800GB raid).

you would need a 9 to 6 pin firewire adapter to do that. but ya, it would work at 400 speed.
