Best apps for managing small business payroll and accounting?

What are some of the best/better applications for doing a small businesses payroll, accounts receivable, inventory, and minor accounting chores not usually completed by an outsourced CPA?



I'm a new Mac user and our current payroll and check writing is done on a Windows machine.



I was just wondering what options would be available for us in the future if we switch over to Mac's in whole or in greater part.

    Take a look at MYOB AccountEdge 4. It is a perfect product and you'll find most accountants small and very big will be able to take your data file at the end of a financial year and work the numbers ready for sending returns to the Tax office.



    We've been using it since the very early windows versions.
