Recovery CDs

I have a 15" 1.3GHZ, 80Gig, dvd-r powerbook. My friend has a 12" 1GHZ Ibook. I lost my recovery CDs will his work on my powerbook?

    If you mean the Apple Software Restore disk(s), the only problem is if his CD will boot your PowerBook. I doubt it, but you could just try.



    By the way, do you know you can make a recovery CD yourself? Donationware BootCD allows you to create a bootable CD containing the software you need. You may still have a hard time installing Norton Utilities on it, but DiskWarrior and Drive 10 are easily installed by copying the apps.
