iSight + EvoCam

Does anybody use EvoCam with iSight as a surveillance camera?



I read about them in Macworld, and also had a look at the EvoCam website , but am really wanting to hear from people with first hard experience.



It could be just the sort of security I am looking for when I move out to protect my G5.

evoCam works perfectly with an iSight. It provides all the video calibration and compression settings you could want.



Security? I could see it being good for surveillance of other items but not the computer. If someone steals your computer... it'll be awful hard to look at the video.

I was reading that it can sense motion, take a photo, and then e-mail it to account, or post it to a web page. So you would still see someone even if the computer got stolen.
