Apple drops price on 1GHz 15.2" PowerBook G4 and 14.1" iBook

January 7 - 17:26 ESTÂ*Â* Apple has quietly lowered the price of the original 1GHz 15.2-inch PowerBook G4 with SuperDrive to US$2,799 ($200 off). Apple has also dropped the price of the 14.1-inch iBook to $1,499 ($100 off). Additionally, Apple's DVD-R Media has been lowered to $14.95 for a 5-pack.

    Its so heartening to see Apple moving in the right direction. Better performance, lower prices. yay!

    Do you think Macmall (where I bought my SuperDrive PB) or my credit card company will honor the price drop and give me the money back?
