Upgrading the Mac Mini

Ok...so we can open the wonderfull mac mini but how do I upgrade the HDD. now i don't mean how do i take it out. that's easy enough. what i want to know is how do i format the hdd so when i insert the mac install cds it will actually work. imagine...you can put some really good kit in there and then the mac mini will not just be wonderfull but very wonderfull indeed.

    I don't know if it's such a good idea to put in a larger hard drive. That's a pretty small box and I bet the big mini (1.4ghx/80gb) version is probably right at it's heat dissipation limits as it is.



    Why don't you just add an external drive via the firewire or USB ports?
