iMac G5 < to > Mac mini sharing

ok.... I just dont get it..... I have my Mac mini and iMac G5 connected with a ethernet cable



Its asking for a password..... im typing my system password...correct??? yes??? .... well it keeps saying its wrong

    You are typing the User screen name and password, not the admin password, right? I've done that a few times.

    User-name must be the computer your connecting to, that should be the only problem if you're getting that far.

    You need to remember that you have to type in the user name and password that you want to use on the machine that you are connecting to - not from.



    Also I had a hell of a problem while trying to get two machines to connect because the user names and passwords were the same on the machines I was having connect to each other.



    As soon as I changed it - it worked.
