Cube will only see 127GB of 250GB drive

I thought that I would upgrade my HD from a 60GB to a huge

250GB drive only to find that the cube would only recognize it as a 127GB drive. Did Apple cripple the Cubes ability to usse large drives? Is there a way around this?

I posted this in current hardware but now I think that this is the correct place for my question.

yes there is a way but may be too late for you, never the less check out the info in Cubeowner.com. OWC is selling new dives @ high capacity above the 120GB limit.
