Carbon copy cloner question

Hi guys and girls



I am cloning my HD to an external drive as I am having a few "problems" and want to wipe the drive and load a clean new system.



this is my first time usin ccc and I am cloning a disk image and it has been siting saying "Converting disk image to UDRO..." for ages (at least 45minutes) is this normal?



any tips on CCC?

    I usually just let it run, it always works ok for me.

    about 5 mins after posting it changed to ASR LOL so just leaving it running but means leaving my laptop at work over night
