Word .X issue - Quites when trying to print
Running Office .X, Mac OS 10.3.7 on an iMac G4
Document quits when trying to print, create PDF, etc.
Could be a bad document as I open it on another Mac running Office 2004 and I can print, create PDFs with no trouble.
Could it be the way the document is formatted? It was created on a Windows PC.
I am at a loss because I have updated the Office suite, repaired permissions, dleted all preferences..etc.

Broken, corrupted and/or incompatible (Mac/Windows) fonts
can always be the culprit of this kind of troubles.
Most printing troubles within MS apps
can be traced back as font issues.
My experience
Word 2004 at least got a cunning option to perform
a compatibility test. Run this test, and look
what kind of issues the test comes up. Perhaps your document
contains fonts, which are not installed in your system.
Substitute all fonts. (Select all text and choose another font, done)
Btw, are you able to print out any other
document by Word?
Or, can you print out generally and only this
particular document gives yoou a headache?
Perhaps this helps
