using patchburn/hurz&pfurz/iDVD3???

some old school questions:

2 years ago, I dremeled a big hole in the bottom of my Cube, to bring the IDE outside, connecting a pioneer dvd-rw drive?-



now, I've heard of "patchburn" - afaik, it works just with iDVD4 - which doesn't work with my Cube ?



and, there's this "hurz&pfurz" patch/hack/you name it?



all I want is, to use iDVD3 with an external fw connected dvd-r?-



what shall I do??
