iDVD - Why only 99 pics for a slideshow?

Hello Everyone. I just completed my first slideshow on a Mac. So cool. However, I was wondering why iDVD limits you to only 99 pictures. Does anyone know?

    It puts each picture in its own "chapter" on the dvd, so you can skip between pics using the left and right arrows on the remote. There is a limitation of 99 chapters in a title in the DVD standard. I'm sure they could work around that limitation, but I guess they chose not to.
