iPod problems

my iPod is constantly breaking down. I go into disk repair and repair it, but if you verify the disk right after it says one volume needs to be reapired. I have a first gen 5 gig iPod.



Can anyone help?

    Not all things are repairable. Launch your iPod software and restore the iPod (essentially wipes the disk and starts over).
