For more than a day now, Amazon.com has had the 17" Powerbook (new one) for $99,999.99. Hum, I wonder if that is a G10?

No, it's a G7. But for the prices Apple's been charging for the G7 lately, it should be a G10.

Sorry, I didn't think it was too hard to find the new pbooks on amazon.
yes, it is still there today, and it has been at $99,999.99 since mid-day Friday!

They chose not to take any new orders until they have them in stock?
It's weird, but I bet they got a lot of interest in those new babies.
For people in California there is not too many options left to order Apple
stuff without taxes, Amazon seems to be the best with free shipping
(J&R and Macconnection.com are the only other two).
I ordered mine on Jan 31st at Amazon and I could choose 2nd day shipping for free.
They are known for listing a crazy "expected date" for new stuff,
it's always the same as other places.

From amazon.com
Amazon.com = low prices. Did you find this item priced lower than $99,999.99 somewhere else?
I find this section of that page the funniest.
