Confidence in dual 2.5 GHz G5 status?

My apologies if this question has been asked 5,000,000 time but one more if you please. I am going to buy a new Mac end of February and am debating whether the 2.5 cooling system has proven itself? I will need to fully load the system with video and other cards as well as full drives - all adding heat. I have heard/read that there are still questions about the reliability of the cooling?     the fans may kick up a little more if there's less room for normal airflow, but it should keep everything cool. i've got a sata drive in the 2nd bay and RAM in all 8 slots and they havent melted or anything.
