Optical drive won't read disk...why?

Hi there!! I have a big problem which is driving me insane. Now, I hope I can find a solution quickly as I need to finish a project VERY soon! So hope you can help. This is the problem: I need ti install FCP4 onto a G4 800 Mhz Quicksilver but the machine doesn't let me. After I insert the install CD the machine spits it out and therefore does not read it. I tried other cd's and they are all readable, so only the FCP4 original cd together with Soudtrack and Livetype won't work!!! Any reason why?? Could it be that the machine being not too new might need a Firmware update?? And if so, which one?? Please I need some help urgently!! I thank you in advance....Luci

    Found the solution!!!! My Mac does not have a DVD reader!!!
