Monitor Gone Wacky!

Hi there,



My 21" studio monitor has gone a bit off kilter.



Basically, the entire screen is concentrated in a strip down the middle of the monitor that's about a third of the width of the display itself...



Look!



I've tried everything in preferences, and Zapping the P-RAM. Nothing. This situation remains no matter whether my G4 Tower or my iBook is plugged into it.



I am worried I've knackered it for good, as this problem started just after I transported the monitor from one house to another...

I'd say one of the capacitors died in your monitor. It is not building up enough charge to bend the cathode ray from one side to another. There may be a setting in the menu to adjust the width, but I doubt that will solve your problem.
