Is it possible to burn a disc image to multiple DVDR's?

I have a disc image that's too big to fit on one DVD is it possible to do multiple dvd's? I keep getting a message that says the image is too large to fit on the disc.

    If you have a .Mac subscription, I think Backup might be able to do it? but don't quote me on that!

    I tried toast and it was giving me the same spiel.
