iTunes Playlists saved on my computer?

in iPod + iTunes + AppleTV edited January 2014
Were are the playlists saved from itunes one my computer. I'm using a PC.



EDIT: or what are they saved as so i can do a search

    I think they are saved in the My Documents/My Music/Itunes folder as part of the .xml and .itl files. When I reinstalled windows on my computer some time back, I was able to get all my playlists and library info back just by recopying these two files back into that folder. I don't think that the playlists are saved as separate files elsewhere.

    The playlists are indeed stored in the "ITunes Music Library.itl" file. Backing this file up will back up your playlists as well.
